Ask your MP to mark Awareness Week with us

On Thursday 20 November, Andrew Snowden MP highlighted Crohn's and Colitis Awareness Week in parliament and tabled an Early Day motion (EDM) to mark the week. Now, we need your help to build cross-party support, and encourage your MP to sign the EDM

An EDM is a formal statement that MPs can sign to show their support for an issue. It's an important way for MPs to publicly back a cause. The more signatures an EDM receives, the stronger the message it sends to the UK Government that this issue matters.

We know that MPs want to hear from their constituents about the issues that matter most to them, and they are more likely to sign this EDM if they receive a message from you. Your voice makes a difference in ensuring we can raise awareness with as many MPs as possible.

We can help you write to your MP today, by filling out this quick and easy form. You can also personalise your message by writing a sentence or two about why it is so important for MPs to raise awareness of the conditions and show their support.

Crohn’s & Colitis UK is introducing a refreshed brand to help us reach more people, challenge misconceptions, and strengthen understanding of Crohn’s and Colitis. While we transition, you may still see some materials in our previous style, like this one. We’re phasing in new designs over the coming months to minimise cost and environmental impact, and we appreciate your patience as we make the switch.
